These Terms govern the use of Vamo services operated by Rish Tech Pvt Ltd.
1. Nature of Service
Vamo is a hyperlocal logistics and delivery coordination platform that enables businesses and merchants to deliver products to their customers through delivery partners and riders.
Vamo currently supports only intra-city hyperlocal deliveries.
2. Merchant Responsibilities
Merchants are fully responsible for:
- Product quality
- Packaging
- Product legality
- Taxes and invoices
- Correct order information
- Food safety and compliance
Merchants must ensure that all items handed over for delivery comply with applicable laws.
3. Prohibited Items
The following are prohibited from being transported through Vamo:
- Medicines
- Alcohol (unless legally permitted)
- Illegal goods
- Fragile or high-risk items
- Precious valuables or cash
- Hazardous materials
- Any item prohibited under Indian law
Vamo reserves the right to reject or cancel deliveries involving prohibited items.
4. Delivery Timings
Deliveries depend on merchant operating hours. Vamo does not support deliveries between:
- 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM
5. Order Acceptance & Delivery
Vamo facilitates logistics operations but does not manufacture, own, or sell the products being delivered.
Delivery timelines are indicative and may vary due to:
- Traffic
- Weather
- Rider availability
- Operational constraints
6. No Cash on Delivery
Vamo currently does not support Cash on Delivery (COD).
7. Rider Conduct
Riders operate as independent delivery partners and are not employees of Vamo unless explicitly stated otherwise.
8. Limitation of Liability
Vamo’s maximum liability for any order shall not exceed the value of the order associated with the delivery.
Vamo shall not be liable for:
- Indirect losses
- Business losses
- Spoilage due to merchant packaging
- Delays caused by external conditions
- Product quality disputes
9. Return to Origin (RTO)
In cases of failed delivery:
- Orders may be returned to the merchant
- Additional delivery charges may apply for return trips
10. Suspension & Termination
Vamo may suspend or terminate access to the platform for:
- Fraudulent activity
- Misuse
- Repeated operational violations
- Legal or compliance concerns
11. Support
Support requests may be raised through:
- Merchant support channels
- Operational support contacts
- Rider escalation mechanisms
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Bangalore, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
